The Right Materials
You need: small sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape and “FRAGILE” markers. Never use large boxes for heavy fragile items — they break under their own weight.
The Method
- Plates: wrap each individually, pack vertically like records — never flat-stacked.
- Glasses: stuff with crumpled paper, wrap outside, pack rim-down.
- Electronics: original boxes are best; otherwise double-box with padding.
- Artwork: corner protectors + bubble wrap + flat rigid box.
